Second Edition of Thar Fest to Kick off in Kochi

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M), India’s leading SUV manufacturer, will kick off the second edition of the Thar Fest on October 15th in Kochi. Thar Fest will also host the third edition of the Mahindra Adventure ‘Club Challenge’, which will be held on October 14th & 15th, where the top 12 Off-Roading clubs from across the country, will compete for off-road supremacy.
In a one-of-its-kind event, the Thar Fest is expected to be India’s largest congregation of Mahindra Thars, where passionate Thar owners and fans from across India will be gathering to celebrate the spirit of this iconicbrand. Exciting off-roading activities and Thar related contests will keep the participants enthralled in this day long festival. The spectators can also indulge in other activities like Thar Parade, 4X4 Trail Challenge, Mud Therapy, Virtual Reality based games, Rock climbing, Rappelling, Rifle shooting, archery while unwinding in the evening with some Live Music and much more.
Participants and spectators alike will also get a chance to witness their favourite off-road club in action who will battle it out in the 3rd edition of the ‘Club Challenge’. Participants from 12 Off-Road clubs from across India will compete against each other to win the coveted title of the ‘Best Off-Roading Club’ in India.The obstacles will focus more on teamwork than on individual performances.
The clubs that will be participating this year include, Incredible Off-Roaders, Kannur Off-Roaders, KTM Jeepers, R & T Off-Roaders, Team Flywheel, Tamil Nadu Off-Roaders Coimbatore, Tirunelveli Off-Roaders,Motorsports Club of Meghalaya, Kerala Adventure Sports Club, BODA from Bengaluru, NIOC Delhi and AHOR North East. The ‘Club Challenge’ is scheduled to kick off on October 14th, 2017with exciting night stages from6:30 PM till midnight. The next day, October 15th, 2017 will witness the day stages between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
