NEW DELHI:
Samsung India, the country’s biggest and most trusted consumer electronics brand, today announced the launch of a new interactive digital display: Samsung Flip, which facilitates collaborative digital engagement by alleviating the most prominent challenges businesses face when conducting meetings.
Flip delivers ace collaborative efficiency by condensing multiple tools and processes required for a traditional meeting into a sleek, stylish all-in- one design. It enables meetings to take place anywhere and anytime. Unlike traditional boards, no touch pens are required to interact with the screen and, notes can be erased through a quick palm swipe. Users can access up to 20 pages of writing space, with embedded search functionalities available to instantly direct participants to specific content.
This continuous, rolling stream avoids the lost time and interruptions that often result as participants have to search through multiple sheets of paper or lines of notes to locate a specific detail. Samsung Flip is not just perfect for office goers, entrepreneurs and business professionals but can also aptly find ample use cases in the academic sector.
“We are excited to launch the Samsung Flip in India, and we look forward to building upon this technology to help businesses work better, smarter and quicker. Flip’s intuitive interface is specifically designed to be user-friendly and allow for timely, uninterrupted conversation. Convenience is our overarching promise,” said Puneet Sethi, Vice President, Consumer Electronics Enterprise Business, Samsung India.
The Flip display is completely customizable and can configure to portrait or landscape orientations to suit unique meeting needs. Since it’s portable, the Flip can maximize writing space as per users preferred positions. If a meeting require more centralized, roundtable-style discussion, users can connect the Flip display to a compatible wall mount.
Through simultaneous multi-user engagement, the Samsung Flip ensures that all voices and ideas are heard during a given meeting. Up to four different participants can introduce content or annotate directly on screen at the same time. In doing so, each user can customize his or her own writing style, size and color, with each notation made clear and visible by viewer-friendly UHD resolution.
As meetings wrap up, the Samsung Flip display securely stores all content within a central database, eliminating the need for transcripts or recaps. An airtight, password-based protection system safeguards meeting details and ensures that only approved users can access the information. Once logged in, meeting facilitators and participants can download and share featured content through email or traditional printing. Users additionally can save meeting notes to a USB drive or other external sources.
While maintaining the familiar feel of traditional writing, Samsung Flip reimagines the way collaborative activities can be done. Additionally, the Flip’s portable, wheel-based stand transforms any location into a huddle room, meaning added flexibility to businesses with limited conference space.
Samsung Flip recently bagged prestigious awards across the globe. The product was the AV News Awards 2018 finalist, where it was recognised as “collaboration innovation of the year”, “presentation innovation of the year” and “display innovation of the year”. It also featured amongst the top 10 most important products at the CES 2018.
