Samsung, India’s number.1 and most trusted smartphone brand, today, launched the all new Galaxy On8. The new smartphone from Samsung is an online exclusive available on e-commerce platform, Flipkart and on Samsung Online Shop (shop.samsung.com/in).
Galaxy On8 packs a larger 6 inches Super AMOLED Infinity Display and industry-first dual camera features. These features are powered by artificial intelligence that allows users to experiment with the foreground and background of an image, thereby delivering professional grade photographs. The dual camera delivers Samsung’s flagship ‘Live Focus’ feature, where users can bring sharp focus to the foreground while blurring out the background.
The all new Galaxy On8 comes with three new powerful dual camera features – Background Blur Shape, Portrait Dolly, and Portrait Backdrop. With Background Blur Shape, you can make the pictures talk by adding soft light effect in different contextual shapes. The Portrait Dolly feature delivers a moving GIF image with zoom movements in the background for a cinematic photography experience.
The portrait backdrop mode gives a professional touch to photography by creating cool and funky backgrounds effects.

The infinity display experience is further enhanced by Samsung’s‘Make for India’ “Chat Over Video” feature which allows an uninterrupted and uncompromised video viewing experience while chatting, hence eliminating the need to compromise between video viewing or chatting. The transparent keyboard allows the user to continue watching the video while enjoying the video content.
Galaxy On8 also comes pre-loaded with Samsung Mall, a revolutionary new service for millennials. This ‘Make for India’ feature uses Artificial Intelligence to let users shop by clicking a picture of the desired product and automatically getting results for the item across popular e-commerce platforms.
Galaxy On8 comes with a premium polycarbonate unibody and has a 6” HD+ super AMOLED Infinity display. It has sleek curves and an ergonomic design with elegant style and comfortable grip. The primary dual rear camera set up has 16MP with f/1.7 aperture and 5MP with f/1.9 aperture. The front camera is a 16MP setup with f/1.9.
