  • SAIK, QSeverse ink MoUs with MuLearn for Cooperation

By NE Reporter on April 1, 2025

    THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
Two MoUs were exchanged at the ‘Permute 2025’ skills summit to effectively utilise and exchange resources and expertise in information technology.

The Society of AVGC-XR Institutions in Kerala (SAIK) and QSeverse signed agreements with industry-enabled digital platform MuLearn, which offers students free access to mentors in the industry, to collaborate in this field.

‘Permute 2025,’ one of India’s largest skilling festivals, was organized by the Group of Technology Companies (GTECH) to establish Kerala as the talent capital of the country for the knowledge industry. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated the one-day summit.

Prashant Prabhu, Co-Founder and CTO, QSeverse and Dr Nitish T Jacob, Co-Founder and CEO, QSeverse, jointly handed the MoU to Deepu S Nath, Chief Volunteer of MuLearn and Managing Director of FAYA.

This MoU aims to create a comprehensive framework for collaboration to enhance skill development, technological innovation, industry-academia partnerships, and employment opportunities in the AVGC-XR sector.

This collaboration will ensure the effective utilisation of expertise, resources, and networks in the respective fields for mutual benefits.

The two also agreed to engage in joint initiatives such as skill development, hackathons, internship-career development programs, projects, research and outreach programmes.

The MoU between SAIK and MuLearn aims to collaborate in areas such as academia-industry partnership development, technology development, research and development, implementation of children’s digital passports, and training programmes.

Shri Jayakumar P, CEO of Toonz Media Group, Shri Philip Thomas, Country Head of the World Design Council, and Shri Nikhil Chandran, Founder and CEO of Tiltlabs, handed over the MoU to the MuLearn representatives.

MuLearn aims to bring together academic, industrial, and skilling agencies, students, and professionals in the state to create a talent bank for the future. To achieve this goal, it will work together with government agencies, industry organisations, and academic institutions.

Suresh Babu L from ICT Academy, Harsh Dattani, Google Programme Manager, Anand from Cyberdome, Ansha Dixit, Head of FIDE Global Community Initiatives, and Rahul P Balachandran from Inker Robotics, spoke at the Partner Announcement Session at ‘Permute 2025’.

Google Developers, Beckon, Pathway, Beagle, Riglabs, Tiltlabs, Extruder, KBA, Androids for Education, Kdisk, ASAP, ICFOS, Cyberdome, IEDC. Faya:80, Foss United, and Udhyam Foundation are partners of ‘Permute 2025.’
