KOCHI:
Rashtriya Janatha Dal (RJD) will also join with the nationwide strike against fuel price hike on September 10.
RJD national secretary Anu Chacko said the central government was not able to regulate the fuel prices. She said that petrol and diesel should be brought within the ambit of the GST so that the “common man whose budget has gone haywire is provided with the requisite relief” .
Petrol prices rose to ₹86.91 per litre and diesel is being sold at ₹75.95 per litre. Even though petrol and diesel prices are steady in the international market, fuel prices are constantly rising in the country.
