Pramod Kumar has taken over charge as Senior Deputy General Manager and Chief Vigilance Officer, Southern Railway today (11.12.2018) J.P. Pandey who has been posted as Principal Chief Material Manager Western Railway. Prior to this he was Chief Project Director Railway Electrification, Jaipur.
A graduate in Electrical Engineering from Agra University He belongs to Indian Railway Service Electrical Engineers (IRSEE) of 1984 UPSC batch and has wide experience in various areas such as Railway operations, Traction Distribution, Rolling Stock operations and Construction.
He has worked in various fields over 7 Railways before joining Southern Railway. He had worked as Deputy Chief Vigilance Officer in Central Organisation for Railway Electrification/Allahabad, Additional Divisional Railway Manager /Jaipur, Divisional Railway Manager/Moradabad, Chief Electrical Engineer, North Central Railway (Allahabad) and Executive Director, Research Design and Standards Organisation.
