

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
More than 200 students from various educational institutions across Kerala, along with working professionals, vied for honours in the state-level ‘Generative AI Hackathon 2025’ held at Technopark here on Saturday.
The state-level Gen AI seminar and hackathon was organized by Boston Institute of Analytics (BIA) in association with Prathidhwani, the welfare and recreation forum of IT employees at Technopark.
The event was aimed to foster collaboration between academia and industry in the field of Generative AI, bringing together students, faculty members, and working professionals on a common platform to explore real-world AI challenges and solutions.
Dr Sabu M Thampi, Chief Vigilance Officer & Professor, KUDSIT, who is also Founder & Director, Quantumweave Intelligence, and Dr Anjana P Das, Gen AI Architect, Tata Elxsi, Thiruvananthapuram, led a seminar session on Gen AI for the participants. Apart from students, faculty members and industry professionals attended the seminar.
The sessions offered hands-on experience with cutting-edge Generative AI tools and frameworks, besides creating a platform for networking, collaboration and talent showcase.
The winners were given cash prizes along with scholarships on BIA courses, opportunities for collaborations in future AI projects, and networking with AI experts and enthusiasts.
