OISCA Global Youth Forum at Kochi on Feb 9 to 11

KOCHI:
OISCA International, a Tokyo based NGO and having consultative Status with UN, is conducting OISCA Global Youth Forum in association with Xavier Institute of Management & Entrepreneurship (XIME), Kochi .
The forum will be conducted on Feb 9 to 11 at XIME Institute , Kalamassery. The forum named “Envirotech 2018” will focus on topics like “Furusato”-Technologies for Environmental sustainability, Water the Elixer of Life, Water Security, Safe drinking water to all, compact pollution- Modern Technologies for pollution control.
The youth forum will be inaugurated by famous film director, script director and producer, Padma Vibhushan Adoor Gopalakrishnan on Feb 9th at 3 pm, and K V Mohan Kumar, President OISCA South India Chapter will preside the
function. The key note address will be delivered by Dr J Alexander, Chairman, XIME and former Cabinet Minister and former Chief Secretary Govt. of Karnataka.
The Chief Guests of the function will be Prof Dr J. Latha, Vice Chancellor of CUSAT, and President of OISCA International, Japan Etsuko Nakano, President OISCA International Japan . Oushadhi Chairman and President, OISCA Central region, K.R. Viswambharan, Chairman of Jeevan TV Baby Mathew, Environmentalist Suresh Heblikar, OISCA
international Secretary general Yusuaki Nagaishi will felicitate the event. Cultural performance by students of OISCA kalakshethra Palakkad and XIME will add colour to the function.
The Seminar on 10th will be inaugurated by President of OISCA International Japan Etsuko Nakano. Key note address will be delivered by Pro Vice Chancellor of MG University Prof. Dr. Sabu Thomas, Suresh Heblikar and Dr. Khaleel Chovva will present a paper on the theme Furusato-Technologies for Environmental sustainability and paper on Combat Pollution- Modern Technologies for pollution control will be presented by Dr K V Jayachandran and Dr Thomas Thevara.
A convention of School children will also be conducted as a part of this forum. Students from all schools and colleges in Kerala will be allowed to participate in this forum.
Interested students please send an essay of not more than 500 words on any of the above given subjects to oiscaindia @gmail.com before 30th January. Selected students can participate in the convention.
In the valedictory function Former Chief Secretary to Govt of Kerala K. Jayakumar will be the chief guest. A musical concert by Suchetha Satheesh will be held on Saturday evening at 6pm. A tour to vembanad lake is also arranged for registered delegates.
