In anticipation of the upcoming festive season, O by Tamara Trivandrum hosted their highly anticipated annual cake-mixing ceremony on October 3, 2024. The event brought together a distinguished gathering of in-house guests, influencers, and the hotel’s dedicated staff, marking the commencement of the holiday festivities.
The ceremony was led by Suresh P.M., Group Chef for both O by Tamara and Lilac Hotels, who oversaw the creation of this year’s festive cake mixture, which featured over 250 kilograms of a carefully curated assortment of dried fruits and nuts. These were complemented by fresh fruit juices and an array of premium spirits, culminating in a rich, flavourful mix that will be baked into delectable Christmas cakes to be enjoyed throughout the season.
Guests were invited to actively participate in the cake-mixing process, contributing to this long-standing tradition that symbolizes unity and the spirit of togetherness. The event concluded with an elegant high tea reception, where attendees enjoyed a selection of fine teas, coffees, and an array of savoury and sweet refreshments.
