In a recent past, the company has seen a misleading propaganda in social, print and TV channels about the quality of packed drinking water in the Golden Valley. The news reported wrongly that the Golden Valley packaged drinking water contains coliform bacteria.
We believe that it is merely an attempt to tarnish the image of the leading Golden Valley Brand. The company has been manufacturing packaged drinking water using state of the art equipment and modern quality assurance processes.The allegations against us is spreading without any official confirmations either from the Regulators or from the Govt. bodies.
The Golden Volley became the top packaged drinking water brand in Kerala because our consumers has full faith in the quality of our products and our company. To ensure that we raise the bar to keep up the trust enjoyed by us from the consumers, in addition to testing of the products in our own labs, we also ensure that our products are tested regularly with external Labs accredited by FSSAI and NABL.
The news had spread that coliform bacteria was found in Golden Valley NeST packaged drinking water produced from our plant at Marampally, Aluva after the water was tested by the Food Safety Authority’s authorized Lab and subsequently verified by the Referral Laboratory in Mysore’s and that the company had withdrawn the batch of packaged drinking water found with coliform bacteria from the market. This is absolutely a baseless news.
The company has not received any order to withdraw the Golden Valley packaged drinking water from the market neither has it withdrawn any bottles from the market. We have also received confirmation from the Office of the Assistant Commissioner’s Office, Food Safety that the company is not barred from producing and selling Golden Valley packaged drinking water.
The Golden Valley packaged drinking water is manufactured with the help of automated processing and testing equipment, without any hand touch by any of the employees. Our source of water is bore well and hence there is no possibility for coliform bacteria from the source of water either.The company has the FSSAI license and BIS certification for packaged drinking water for ensuring quality scientifically.
