She also said that the coming era will be data driven and will create lot of job opportunities, She was inaugurating NCODDR (National Conference on Open Data and Data Repository) via video conferencing. Dr. J. Letha, Vice Chancellor presided over the function.

The three day conference will have participation of national and international researchers and will discuss various topics like production of data through research, accumulation, scientific organisation, transfer of data and IPR issues.
