  • nasscom FAYA:80 to Host Seminar on AI-powered Coding Era on March 12

By NE Reporter on March 10, 2025

    THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
nasscom-associated FAYA:80, a knowledge community based at Technopark, will host a seminar on the evolving world of coding in the age of artificial intelligence (AI) on March 12.

The seminar is planned as part of FAYA: 80’s 125th edition of the open-for-all tech seminar. The session will also explore the implications for startups, offering insights on how they can future proof their businesses as AI-driven coding models gain prominence.

Amrit Sanjeev, Staff Developer Advocate at Google and an expert in large systems development, will lead the session, titled ‘The Code is Changing: Are You Adapting or Becoming a Relic?. Sanjeev will outline the essential skill sets developers need to thrive as AI increasingly shapes the coding landscape.

The seminar will be held at the FAYA “Floor of Madness”, Thejaswini Building, Technopark, at 5 pm.

Deepu S Nath, MD, Faya and long-time mentor of Kerala’s tech ecosystem, said, “As technology evolves, staying relevant means embracing change. This session is vital for developers, who are eager to understand the skills to remain relevant in a world where AI is transforming the way we write code.”

“nasscom FAYA:80 series continues to build on its mission – creating a vibrant community where knowledge flows freely, ideas flourish, and the tech landscape evolves together,” he added.

Organized by FAYA, a leading IT company headquartered in the USA, in association with nasscom, the series began in 2013 and has since become Kerala’s premier open-for-all tech forum. Being held on the first Wednesday of every month, nasscom FAYA:80 has consistently brought together some of the most far-sighted leaders in the Indian IT industry to engage with developers, entrepreneurs, and technology professionals.

Seats are limited for the open-for-all tech seminar. For registration, visit: https://www.fayaport80.com/events/10947d35-7f01-41ce-875a-4e7c89a8580a
