Mandsaur(Madhya Pradesh): Two Muslim women passengers were beaten up mercilessly for half an hour by self-appointed cow protectors at Mandsaur Railway station in Madhya Pradesh.
The police arrived on the scene but the women were kicked and thrashed for half an hour.
The assailants alleged that the women were carrying beef but the veterinary doctor and the state home minister of Madhya Pradesh confirmed that it was not beef but buffalo meat.
However, a case has been slapped on the assaulted women because they did not have a permit to sell meat.
