Prof. M. R Anantharaman, UGC-BSR faculty fellow, Department of Physics, CUSAT has been selected for Materials
Research Society of India (MRSI) Medal for 2018.
The medal is conferred on active Materials Scientists for their significant contribution to the field of Materials Science over a period of time. MRSI is one of the largest professional bodies and an Interdisciplinary Society
Prof. M.R.Anantharaman is a pioneer in research in the area of Nanotechnology and is currently executing projects in the area of artificial muscles and developing materials for magnetic refrigeration. He has more than 160 publications and two Indian patents to his credit. Over 25 persons have acquired Ph.D under his guidance.
