Centre for Innovation Technology Transfer and Industrial Collaboration (CITTIC) of Cochin University of Science and Technology is organizing ‘Make-a-ton 4.0’, a 24 hour online hackathon for students from Universities and Technical Institutions across India. The event will be inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) K.N Madhusoodanan at 4:30 pm on Friday, 25 th February 2022. Prasad Balakrishnan Nair, Special Officer, KPPL & Former CEO, Maker Village, will be the Chief Guest.
The venture aims to empower innovators and encourage progressive ideas that might hold key solutions to challenges faced today. It will feature students racking their brains to solve unique and challenging problem statements, with mentorship and guidance from industry experts. The winning project will be the most innovative and practical solution which tackles a socially relevant problem as decided by a panel of judges. A special prize is given to the best CUSAT team that proposes a project which can be implemented/ solves a problem specific to CUSAT.
