After holding an accelerator programme for small and medium enterprises this month, the Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) is hosting a similar Scalathon in the second week of the new year.
Applications have been invited for the January 7 Scalathon being held at Abad Plaza, Ernakulam in association with philanthropic organisation Wadhwani Foundation. The registrations can be made at http://bit.ly/scalathonkochi.
A four-hour programme from 3.30 pm, the upcoming Scalathon is in continuation of an agreement the KSUM signed with Wadhwani Foundation three months ago at Huddle Kerala 2019 in Kovalam near Thiruvananthapuram. The project gives focus to women entrepreneurship, start-ups and entrepreneurship education by handholding select SMEs so as to accelerate the business growth of SMEs in Kerala by generating jobs.
The programme is for entrepreneurs with an annual business turnover between Rs 5 crore and Rs 350 crore. Led by experienced consultants from the Wadhwani Foundation, Scalathon will provide the enterprisers with expert advice on improving industry ventures.
The mentors at the January 7 Scalathon will be strategic advisers, coaches, and investors from various parts of the country. Earlier, a Scalathon was held on December 17 and 18 at KSUM’s Integrated Startup Complex in Kalamassery.
