KSUM Opens LEAP Centre at Zilcubator in Manjeri

MALAPPURAM:
Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) has opened a LEAP (Launch Empower Accelerate Prosper) centeron the campus of Zilcubator at Manjery in Malappuram district, facilitating co-working space for fledgling startups at minimal cost.

Zilcubator is a society formed byUS-based fintech firm Zil Money for providing incubation and handholding for upcoming startups.

The collaboration will also help startups being incubated at the centre explore the possibilities of trapping into the overseas market, especially the US.

The centre will provide a range of supports and guidelinesfor the startups including interactions with investors,business mentoring sessions, market tips and HR and IT backup, organize orientation programmes and enable participation in hackathons.

It will also offer the startups being groomed legal and compliance support,marketing assistance, social media management and digital marketing. The focus will be on grooming fledgling enterprises to come out with innovative products and services by leveraging cutting-edge technologies

KSUM has recently opened LEAP centres in several campuses across the state to help startups flourish and scaleup leveraging the facilities being provided by leading institutions, including engineering and medical colleges.

KSUM is the Kerala government’s nodal agency established in 2006 for entrepreneurship development and incubation activities in the state.
