THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
The Research and Development Centre, Hitachi India, has invited applications from startups in the country for the innovation challenge being launched in association with the Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), seeking the best digital solutions for some of the prevalent challenges that Hitachi India has listed out.
Startups registered with the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) can apply for the innovation challenge, titled‘APPATHON’, which seeks to address some of the problems faced by the small and medium businesses.
The problems that need to be addressed include digital solutions in working capital management, digitization support for small merchants and digital solutions to improve end-user experience.
The winner of the challenge will get Rs 20 lakh as prize and the first and the second runners up will get Rs 10 lakh and Rs 5 lakh respectively.
