BigCart Kerala, an e-commerce platform launched by a startup incubated by Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), is set to expand its operations to more districts in the state to enable people purchase essential commodities during the Covid-19 period.
The online delivery platform, developed by Steve Mobile Technologies Pvt Ltd, launched in the capital city to deliver goods through online and WhatsApp after COVID-19 lockdown kicked in, recently made its way to Kottayam as well. Gaining strength from success in two districts, BigCart Kerala will be extending its services to Ernakulam, Thrissur and Kozhikode districts.
The online platform, launched as part of Lockdown Online Delivery Relief Campaign, has proved to be a huge relief for residents associations and apartment communities here by delivering fruits, vegetables and other essential goods from various sources including Vegetable and Fruit Promotion Council Keralam (VFPCK) and Horticorp.
