THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
KIMSHEALTH organized the ‘Women on Wheels’ two-wheeler rally on International Women’s Day to promote women’s health and safety. The event collectively organized by Kerala Pink Police Patrol, Lulu Mall Trivandrum, and UST was flagged off by DIG R. Nishanthini. More than 100 women from all age groups, including techies, participated in the rally which started from the Lulu Mall parking area and went through various parts of the city finishing off at Lulu Mall.
R.Nishanthini who inaugurated the rally said that the safety of each woman is their responsibility and they should ensure equality, not dominance. The Women’s Day celebrations started with a Zumba dance session underlining the need for women’s health. KIMSHEALTH Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Consultant Dr. Nitha J and Thiruvananthapuram UST Central Head Shilpa Menon spoke at the occasion. KIMSHEALTH CEO Jerry Philip, HCP and RCM, Group Head Vinod Y.R, UST Senior HR Director Sheffy Anwar, Lulu Mall General Manager Shereef K.K, and Regional Manager Abdul Salim participated in the event.
