Agri-tech startup Fuselage Innovations emerged the winner at the Startup Pitch Hub in the just-concluded Convergence India 2025 Expo, qualifying for a fully sponsored exhibition space at the Expand North Star Dubai (October) and G-Tex Europe (Berlin in May).
The Kochi-based Fuselage, incubating under Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), will also get a place at the Super Challenge 2025 Startup Conference in Berlin (June) as well as the Supernova Challenge Pitch in Dubai.
The March 19-21 Convergence India Expo in New Delhi saw ten startups making it to the final round. Apart from Fuselage, three of them were from Kerala: C-DISC Technologies, Genrobotic Innovations and Inker Robotic Solutions.
Fuselage, which was launched in 2020 by siblings Devan Chandrasekharan and Devika Chandrasekharan, has its main products coming under agricultural technology, drone fertilization and surveillance.
Fuselage has the technology to understand fertilizer application and disease outbreaks through aerial observation, following which it can implement solutions through drones, pointed out founding Managing Director Devan. “Our goal is to introduce a digital agricultural model for sustainable agriculture and food security so as to develop a better farming culture.”
Fuselage earlier received the Prem Beht Excellence in Innovation and Entrepreneurship Spirit Award, which carries a purse of Rs 1 lakh. Also, the startup got selected for the UK’s Global Entrepreneurship Program in 2023, making it headquartered in the UK.
KSUM is the nodal agency of the Kerala Government for entrepreneurship development and incubation activities in the state.
