Sukham Yoihenba Meitei, from the U-15 team of Kerala Blasters has been selected for trails with the U-15 Boys National Football Team camp in Goa. The selection was on the basis of Yoihenba’s impressive performances at the Hero Junior League 2018- 19 & the Subroto Cup. Hailing from Manipur, the 173cm tall Sukham Yoihenba Meitei has been playing for the team as a mid-fielder since 2018.
Shameel Chembakath, Head coach, U-15 team, Kerala Blasters commented on the selection ‘Yoihenba is an important box-box midfielder in the team. He is a strong believer of his potential and is very confident with the ball. I’m sure he is an asset to the Club and the Nation. Wish him all the very best to make it to the final squad’.
