Kerala Blasters is happy to announce the signing of 26-year-old Shibin Raj Kunniyil.
The Kozhikode born Goal-keeper started his professional footballing career in 2007, as part of SAI Kozhikode and made his debut in 2009, wherein he represented his district. In 2010, Shibin was part of the team that represented Kerala in the BC Roy Trophy held in Kolkata. His performance saw him to be a part of the Indian U-19 National team, that represented the country in China in 2010.
Shibin was also a part of the team from Malabar Christian College that played the Subroto Cup, wherein he was awarded the title of the Best Keeper. In 2011, he joined the Indian Air-force on scholarship and was part of the services team that emerged Champions in the Santosh Trophy. Going forward, he went on to join the Mohun Bagun FC in 2016. In 2018, Shibin was signed by the I-League side Gokulam FC, wherein he made 11 appearances and also captained the team.
