Kerala Blasters FC reveals Keshu, the Official Mascot of the club for ISL 2019-20. As part of club’s Inclusivity initiative, the latest design for the mascot was sourced from the fans through a Mascot Design Contest that was hosted on the KBFC Tribes Platform.
From the numerous entries that were received, the entry from Mridul Mohan was selected as the face of Keshu. The 19-year-old Mridul from Thrissur is a student at the KKTM Government college, Pullut, Kodungallur. He will now be known as the creator of the Official mascot for Kerala Blasters FC.
Coupled with the launch of the Mascot, the club also announces an exclusive comic strip that will feature Keshu, who is a very jovial, playful yet responsible character, that believes in 3 core principles-Collectivism, Inclusivity and Sportsmanship. The Keshu-Play with me stories have been conceptualized by Sudipta Dhruva, a Mumbai based professional storyteller and brought to life by the renowned cartoonist Abhijeet Kini.
