KOCHI:
Kerala Blasters FC celebrated Christmas with the residents of Karunalayam Charitable Old age home, Thirkkakara.
The players received a warm welcome from 120 smiling faces of the home. The celebrations kick started with the team giving away special gift hampers to all residents, followed by Christmas cake cutting and distribution of snacks.
Spreading the joy of sharing, Barthelomew Ogbeche, Raphael Messi Bouli, Vlatko Drobarov and Rahul K. P delivered early Christmas greetings to the happy faces. Captain Ogbeche’s family also joined the celebrations. Ushering the spirit of the season, the residents engaged with the players by singing Christmas songs and with happy Christmas cheers. Kerala Blasters, a club that truly believes in the value of Sportsmanship, Inclusivity and Collectivism hopes to spread joy through its initiatives to everyone in the state, regardless of any barriers.
