KBFC Young Blasters, a Grassroots and Youth development initiative from Kerala Blasters FC that aims to spread quality football across the state is now geared up to take the program to the next level. With two successful football centres in Kochi, the KBFC Young Blasters has kickstarted its objective.The program aims to reach out to at least 2,00,000 children in a period of 5 Years across all 14 districts of the state.
To spearhead the program from the helm and to ensure the right quality, technique and a uniform curriculum across all centres, schools and academies, the club is proud to announce Mario Marinica as the Technical Director of the KBFC Youth Academy and the Young Blasters Program. With exceptional management skills on and off the pitch , the British born Mario is a UEFA PRO licenced Football coach, with over 26 years of coaching experience. He was previously the Football Development Consultant of the Mauritius Football Association and has also been the Head Coach of Azam FC, the Tanzanian Football club.

KBFC Young Blasters will take Mario’s guidance in two aspects: Holistic development of players, which includes Technical, Tactical, Physical and Psychological skills and the overall assessment and growth of coaches under the program.
