A film about the life of Kathakali musician ‘Kalamandalam Hyder Ali’ has released on Neestream. The film directed by Kiran G Nath narrates the evolution of a little boy Hyder from a small village called Ottupara in Thrissur District to the world known artist as Kalamandalam Hyder Ali. The film is produced by Vineesh Mohan under the banner of Vedhas Creations .Kalamandalm Hyderali was the one and only non-Hindu professional
kathakali singer in the world, who made a mark in the four century-old classical dance drama from Kerala in South India.
Kalamandalam Hydrerali and his songs have a wide range of fans not only in India but also in Europe and Middle East. ‘KalamandalamHyder Ali’ will be played by Renji Panicker in the film. The film also stars Ashokan, T. G Ravindranathan, Paris Laxmi, Meera Nair and Nikhil Renji Panicker in other roles.
The script of the film is written by Aju K. Narayanan. Photography by J Radhakrishnan, editing by Midhun Murali, music by Anil Gopalan and Kottakkal Madhu. Kalamandalam Vimala and Kalamandalam Ganeshan are the choreographers.
