Kochi: The Kerala police team which is investigating Perumbavoor Jisha Murder Case has not made much headway since the arrest of prime suspect Ameer-ul Islam and the recovery of a knife which the police term as the ‘ weapon’.
Police find it difficult to build a strong case against Ameer as there are more missing links yet to be connected.
The fingerprint of an unknown person that was found on the plastic fish bowl in Jisha’s room has not been identified.
Secondly, the Kerala Police have failed to nab Ameer’s friend Anar, a crucial link and suspected accomplice in the crime.
Moreover, the police have not yet identified the woman, who according to Ameer’s statement, slapped him at the bathing ghat in the presence of Jisha.
In spite of the tall claims made by the Kerala Police, these missing links remain.
