As part of the efforts to protect secularism, RJD will conduct secular and democratic meet at Kasargod, Thrissur and Thiruvananthapuram in the month of February. A Janajagrana Yatra by State president will conducted in April from Kasargod to Thiruvananthapuam.
Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) State president Anu Chacko said that the Janata Parivar parties in the country should get united under the leadership of Lalu Prasad Yadav to protect secularism and Constitution.
Addressing mediapersons here, Anu Chacko said that fascist approach is being continued by the Modi Government in the country which is destroying the secularism and democracy. The BJP Government is selling profit making public sector units to the global corporates and these money is used for horse trading in various States to capture power.
The Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) is being introduced to convert India into a communal country like Pakistan, Afganisthan and Bangladesh. The Bill is introduced to finish off the religious minorities here, she said.
Various organisations have registered their protest agains the CAA. RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav is a person who is still fighting against the forces who are trying to sabotage secularism.
