Introduction of New Rake for Venad Express

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
New rake with coaches, equipped with upgraded facilities will be introduced for 16302/16301 Venad Express shortly. These coaches are passenger friendly, aesthetic and are designed to provide maximum comfort. The coaches built at Integral Coach Factory, Chennai are furnished with improved interiors, ergonomically designed seats and modular lavatories.
Salient Features:
1. Centre Buffer Coupler (CBC) provides enhanced safety.
2. Exterior painted with Polyurethane paint and has a unique stripped design pattern.
3. LED Display Destination boards show Train Number/Name and Orginating/Destination stations.
4. LED Display for station Approaching/Arrived Information based on GPS data provided in the coaches to inform passengers regarding approaching/arrived station through LED display.
5. Mosaic design vinyl flooring and bucket type chair car seats with individual foldable snack trays, Foldable snack table in the centre seating portion of AC coaches, Polycarbonate interior panelling are provided for better aesthetics and convenience.
6. AC Coaches are provided with latest design roll down curtains.
7. The Integral washbasins are of sleek design, permitting easy movement in the doorway area and features a concealed dustbin.
8.All coaches are bio-toilet fitted, modular lavatory features stainless steel paneling, concealed dustbins and convenient health faucets.
9. LED Lights, Modular Switch Boards, Laptop/Mobile charging points, LED based signages have been provided
