International Space Olympiad announces its third season of competitions, International Space Olympiad 2016-17 (ISO 2016-17), with an all new structure and huge prizes including tour to NASA
International Space Olympiad is an international level Quiz competition on Space Science and Technology for students of Grades 5-12 and is organized by Edu Mithra Intellectual Services Pvt. Ltd., every year with a mission to attract and encourage talents in the fields of space science and technology and enhance aptitude of children in Space Science & Technology.
International Space Olympiad is designed to examine the in depth knowledge of students in various fields related to Space science and technology and honor the genuine talents with amazing prizes and laurels. ISO is being celebrated by the student-parent communities all over the world for since its first season in 2014-15.
The winners of International Space Olympiad 2016-17 gets a lifetime and never before opportunity to visit NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration, USA) as the grand prize and much more exciting rewards in each level. The competition is open for school students of grades 5-12 all over the world and is conducted under three different categories namely Juniors (for students of grades 5-7), Seniors (for students of grades 8-10), Super Seniors (for students of grades 11-12).
The competition has three levels named as Preliminary, Intermediate and Finals. The top performers of each level get entry to the next level and the winners of the final level gets the chance to visit NASA. Each level has separate rewards too.
From this year onwards, International Space Olympiad 2016-17 is a fully online competition meaning that the participants can attend the competition through internet using computers at their home/Schools. A highly advanced online examination system has been employed to make sure the competition is 100 percent malpractice free. All the levels of ISO will be in this pattern. This new and improved structure enables more students to participate in the competition.
