Infopark Soccer League: Galactico are Champions

THRISSUR:

Galactico Express Solutions defeated Webandcrafts 2-1 in the final of the Infopark Soccer League to become the champions of the football tournament

organized for employees of companies in Infopark. QBurst FC won the third place in the ten-day tourney organized by the Infopark Thrissur Techies Club.

Chalakudy MLA T.J. Saneeshkumar Joseph distributed trophies and cash prizes to the winners. Present at the occasion were Infopark Business Development Assistant Manager Pradeep Kumar V.P., Senior Executive Shwetha Pramod, Senior Site Supervisor Alwin Babu, tournament general convenor Jose Anto Thomas and associates Jomy Johnson, Shanavas Hassan and Vishnu Das, besides sponsors Anir Shah (Galactico), Gokuldas P.G. (Dataequinox), Nibin E.N. (iomarket), Hashim Mohammed (Wohlphysio), Ajil K. Aneer (House of Taouk), among others.

Overall, 17 teams competed in the league. The matches were held at the Hustler Sports Arena in Kadukutty near the Koratty campus in this district. The initial league round was followed by knock-out matches. While Galactico was the title sponsor, the co-sponsors were Dataequinox and iomarket. All these firms function at Infopark Thrissur in Koratty.
