KOCHI:
Infopark Kochi observed World Environment Day by planting banyan trees in the phase-2 campus of the government-owned IT complex.
The weekend function was organised strictly adhering to COVID-19 specifications that mandate social distancing and wearing masks. Infopark Senior Manager (Projects) Vijayan V R and Manager Tini Thomas planted the saplings. Ten other employees of the IT park attended the function.
Infopark Kochi is already taking care of 100 saplings it had planted in the campus on this day last year. The 323-acre IT park houses 420-plus companies, employing 50,000 professionals.
