IndianOil, India’s largest commercial enterprise and a premier Oil PSU, has been in the forefront to provide Cash-Less payment facilities across all customer touch points.
IndianOil, Kerala has achieved for the first time in the Oil Industry facilities for accepting Cash
Moreover, IndianOil, Irumpanam Terminal in Kochi is the first Oil Terminal in the Oil Industry in the Country to ensure 100% payment of Toll charges through Cash-Less medium. This has been achieved by affixing RFID Tags on all its tank trucks. Irumpanam Terminal also has ensured payment of wages to 100% of its Contracters for Security, Housekeeping and Electrical needs. The terminal has ensured that these vendors pay the salaries of their employees through electronic mode.
IndianOil, Kerala has also introduced facility to accept Cash-Less payments at all its canteens in Kerala, viz. at Irumpanam Terminal, Cochin Bottling Plant, Kollam Bottling Plant and Calicut Bottling Plant. Payment of Toll charges through RFID Tag at IndianOil, Feroke Depot at Calicut has been done for 80% of its tank truck. The balance is expected to be completed by 2nd January 2017.
