Indian Plumbing Association’s Kochi Chapter to set up Student Chapters in Kerala. The Department of Hr. Sec. Education, Government of Kerala has currently introduced plumbing as a separate subject across 10 vocational higher secondary schools, under NSQF.
IPA is the knowledge partner to these vocational institutions for up-skilling, and knowledge enhancing for the trainers. To set up student chapters, IPA is interacting with a couple of engineering colleges namely Rajagiri College of Engineering, Kochi and Jyothi Engineering College, Trissur.
IPA will also be hosting the 26th Indian Plumbing Conference (IPC) in Bengaluru on 11th and 12th October at Palace Grounds. IPC is the national conference of the Indian plumbing fraternity. As part of IPC, seminars, exhibitions, technical symposiums, etc. are to be held to educate and share knowledge on latest products, installations and technologies for the benefit of members and the general public. As a part of its water management campaign and commitment to save about 130 crores litres of water across the country this year has said that it will make aerators available across the city for better water management.
