KOCHI:
The Golden Quadrilateral ride, organized nationally by Indian Motorcycle as a fund raiser for girl child education, has been flagged off from Kundannoor by Rekha Bernard.
The ride is being conducted as part of the wheels of Change program initiated by the Indian Motorcycle for charity and promotion of healthy road culture. This year, the ride also aims to distribute study materials for 300 students in the flood affected St. Joseph’s School, Varappuzha.
More than forty bikes lead by Barnad Lasar, participated in the ride conducted at Kochi. The ride ended at St. Joseph School, Varappuzha. Restarting at today morning, the rally will travel a distance of 14000 kilometers in 40 days to end in Delhi. The rider team will visit 15 under privileged schools across the country to help the basic needs there. EVM group, the authorized dealers of Indian motorcycle in Kerala, Prasanth Padmanabhan, General Manager, Indian Motorcycle, and DJ savio, president Kerala riders group, lead the ride. Bikes of any brand can participate in this ride which makes the Indian motorcycle rides really unique.
