New Delhi: India made surgical attacks on seven Pakistan-sponsored terrorist camps
across the Line of Control( LoC) between the two nations in Jammu and Kashmir in a five-hour long military operation on September 28 and 29, Indian Defence sources said today. In an attack that showed India’s calculated move against Pakistan, 38 Pakistani terrorists who had been camping in seven terror launch pads across the Line of Control were killed. Three divisions of the army were involved in the strikes.
” Some terrorist teams had positioned themselves at launch pads along the LoC with an aim to carry out infiltration and terrorist strikes in J&K and various other metros in our country,” said Lt.General Ranbir Singh, Director General of Military Operations.
This is a deliberate attack by Indian army in retaliation for the attack carried out by Pak-sponsored terrorists on India’s military camp in Uri in Jammu and Kashmir 11 days ago in which 18 Indian soldiers lost their lives.
