Considering the volatility of the economy, recruiters are bound to be hesitant, but, the merit of our students attracted a whole new list of companies visiting our campus.’’
Prof. Shovan Chowdhury, Chairperson, Placements at IIM Kozhikode, said “The most remarkable achievement in the summer placements of IIMK this year is that the median stipend is far ahead of the mean. It means more than 50% of the students will earn more than the mean stipend and better stipend comes with better roles. The team has been able to raise the bar by not only inviting many new recruiters, or existing recruiters with new roles but also by completing the placements process in a record 3.5 days. A change in approach to bring in new recruiters has helped the institute in attracting newer brands and opening new roles from existing recruiters and these opportunities have been grabbed by our students who have proven their caliber to the recruiters. This has not only helped IIM Kozhikode retain its past recruiters but also helped it in becoming a preferred campus for the newer ones. I would also like to thank the recruiters for putting immense faith, trust and confidence in the talent of our students’’
