CUSAT Vice Chancellor Dr K.N. Madhusoodanan inaugurated the Higher Secondary Computer Teacher Transformation Program at CUSAT Computer Applications auditorium.
The programme is being organised by Department of General Education Higher Secondary wing in association with Higher Education Department. Dr Madhusoodanan said that the students have enabled themselves to grasp the current advances in the field of computer science in a fast pace and the teachers could follow them in the same pace.
He added that the most important thing for teachers is to gain the trust of the students. HSE Regional Deputy Director K. Shakuntala presided over the function. Dr Sabu M.K, Head, CUSAT Computer Applications Department, HSSTTP, IQAC Director Dr. K. Girish Kumar, Biswas K.V. and Nalinakumari V (H.S.S.T.T.P Co-ordinators) also spoke. 40 Higher Secondary Computer Teachers selected through an online interview from all districts of Kerala are participating in the programme. The program also aims to develop teachers’ research interests, creativity and job skills in a way that benefits the students.
