Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd., a Hinduja Group company, announced an exclusive partnership with Altigreen for supply of EV Fluids like brake and gear oils. Through this exclusive tie-up, Gulf will now manufacture customized EV fluids for commercial electric vehicle maker Altigreen. This partnership will give Altigreen direct access to the R&D capabilities of Gulf Oil India for building a complete portfolio of vehicle fluids optimized specifically for EV needs.
Gulf introduced its wide range of EV fluids in September of last year, offering specially formulated products like Gulf Formula Hybrid for EVs and hybrid vehicles, Gulf eLEC Coolant, Gulf eLEC Driveline Fluid, and Gulf eLEC Brake Fluid.
Sixth Sense, Xponentia and Reliance backed start-up Altigreen, is a leading manufacturer of electric three-wheelers with over 1,000 electric three-wheelers on the road catering to the last-mile mobility segment. The first product – AGP Gear Oil would soon be available at Altigreen sales and service channels. This and other specially formulated Gulf EV Fluids will now power Altigreen’s Low Deck and High Deck cargo electric vehicles.
The strategic agreement was signed between Mr. Ravi Chawla, MD & CEO, Gulf Oil India, and Dr. Amitabh Saran, Co-founder & CEO, Altigreen in Bengaluru today.
