Kerala Blasters is proud to announce the signing of the 21-year-old, I-League player, Samuel Lalmuanpuia. Hailing from Mizoram, the former Shillong Lajong captain joined the youth side of the club in the Shillong Premier League in 2015, where he was crowned the top scorer.
Samuel made his professional debut with the club in 2016 and also has an experienceof playing for the Minerva Punjab FC. The attacking mid-fielder is one of the best performers of the I-League and holds a record of achieving 13 goals from 65 matches played for his maiden club. Samuel’s outstanding performance in the 2017-18 I-League season won him the I League U-22 Player of the season award.
“I feel extremely happy to be a part of Kerala Blasters. I hope to contribute well to the team and help win the title in the upcoming season of the Indian Super League. The fans have been a major source of support and I hope to see them cheer for the team this season as well.” says an excited Samuel.
