The Eye Foundation Kochi Centre Inaugurated

More hospitals and good research works are essential in the health care sector, said Padmasree T.V Mohandas Pai, Chairman of Manipal Global Education services and SEBI primary market advisory committee, while inaugurating the Kochi centre of the leading eye care provider, The Eye Foundation situated near Changampuzha park metro station, Edappally.
State health minister K.K Shailaja Teacher sent a special message wishing eye foundation to become the best in providing world class eye care to the people of Kerala. P.T Thomas MLA said that the charity initiative of Eye foundation, Nethra Jyothi Trust, which is providing free eye care to the underprivileged section is a model to the society. The progress in the health sector of Kerala has increased the life expectancy and this eventually has increased the importance of eye care sector too, said P. Rajeev, Eranakulam District secretary of CPM.
Vijayakumar, ward counselor, Dr. D. Ramamurthy, chairman of The Eye Foundation, Dr. Chitra Ramamurthy, Managing Director, Dr. R. Gopal, medical superintend, K.A Kuriachan, past governor of rotary international 3201, Dr. Radharamanan, president of KSOS, D. Swaminathan, chairman of CIIQ health care catalyst and Venugopal C Govind, Chairman of Bharathheya Vidhyabhavan were at the inaugural ceremony.
