

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
Prathidhwani, the welfare and recreation forum of IT employees at Technopark, has invited entries from techies to the 11th edition of ‘Srishti,’ the biggest arts and literature festival of the IT community in Kerala.
The festival will have competitions in different literary genres like short story, poetry and essay in Malayalam, English, Hindi and Tamil, besides arts competitions in pencil drawing, cartoon and painting (water colour).
IT employees working in Kerala can participate in ‘Srishti’ by sending their creative writings through e-mail and also register for arts competitions.
Every year, the event gets more than 400 entries and an expert panel comprising noted writers selects the best works submitted by the participants. All categories will be given awards, apart from special Readers’ Choice Awards. Readers will get 15 days to register votes for their selection of works.
Writers Kureeppuzha Sreekumar, Prof Chandramathi Teacher, Zakaria, Gopi Kottoor, Dr P S Sreekala, Vinod Vellayani, Vinod Vyshakhi, K A Beena, V S Bindu, Dona Mayura, K V Manikandan, Ayisha Sasidharan and P V Shajikumar were the jury members in the previous editions of the event.
Last date of submitting literary works is February 15.
