For this Women’s Day, Kochi-based Eastern Condiments has launched the Eastern Bhoomika 2017, which has returned for its 3 rd consecutive year. The launch was done by the compassionate Dr. Beena Vijayan, MD KSIDC at the Eastern Corporate Head quarters, Edapally, Kochi.

He added that the aim of the campaign is to salute each and every Woman who has the strength and innate potential in themselves and are generally gone unnoticed and unrecognized. A few fortunate women are able to show their mettle and come to the limelight. But there is a majority who support, lead, work 24×7 x 365 days without holidays, who remain silent but communicate strongly through their act of love and compassion. Many owe their success to these silent powers among us. They can be your wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend, teacher, classmate etc.
Managing Director, Firoz Meeran explained that the uniqueness of the Eastern Bhoomika event is that it happens on the same day across all 5 states. Selected candidates under the ‘Eastern-Bhoomika, Iconic Women of Your Life’ campaign will be honoured at a function to be held at Taj Gateway, Kochi on 8th March at 10 am. Eastern as a brand always stood for empowerment and uplift of women in society.
