THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
Southern Railway Passenger Reservation System will be suspended as a part of Disaster Management and Recovery Drill for a brief period of 1 hour from 14.15 hrs. to 15.15 hrs. on 26th May 2018 and again for a period of 1 hour and 35 minutes from 23.45 hrs. of 26.05.2018 to 01.20 hrs. of 27th May 2018.
The services at Reservation Centres (PRS counters) for reservation, cancellation and enquiry will not be available during this period. Current booking facility will also be unavailable. For journey originating in Southern Railway, South Western Railway and South Central Railway, online booking and enquiry through 139 / Railway website, will not be available during the short period. However there will be no disruption in e-ticketing / 139 / Railway Website for journey originating on other than Southern Railway, South Western Railway and South Central Railway.
Kind cooperation of passengers is solicited and they are advised to plan their reservations / cancellations in advance. Special information counters will be arranged at major railway stations / PRS centres for assisting the public.
