New Delhi: Czech automaker Skoda India has recalled 539 units of the D-segment Octavia, for defective child lock system at both the rear doors. The recalled vehicles are manufactured between November 2015 and April 2016.
The statement from the technical head of Skoda said: “The inspection will take 12 minutes in total for assessment of locks. And in case the locks are required to be changed then, it will take more 45 minutes to conclude entire procedure.”
Skoda had recently announced extended warranty period for its vehicles to increase trust among customers.
