KOCHI:
A cyst of 4 kilograms was removed from the uterus of a 50 years old Tamil lady, Lalitha Parameswaran, at Hestia hospital, Palarivattom.
The surgery was carried out by a team of Dr. Valsala Kumari and Dr. Resmi Nair of the gynecology department and nursing superintend Nisha. The patient came to the hospital with intense leg pain and the cyst was diagnosed in further examination. Commenting on the rare case Dr. Valsala Kumari said: “it is really unbelievable and rare that the patient who had such a big cyst in the uterus do not felt stomach pain.”
