KOCHI:
Nitin Vasanth of School of Engineering, Cusat won the Gandhian Young Technological Innovation Award 2017 for the project “Neuro Buds” at a function held on 5th March at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Out of 2700 nomination
the Jury consists of 134 members across the country and abroad. Top 15 innovations including Nitin’s, selected for financial grant of 15 lakhs. Cusat teacher Unni A.M. mentored the project which is initially incubated at IEDC Cell of Cusat. He is the only Keralite who received recognition this year.
Presently Nitin, son of a retired KSEB Engineer Vasanth and Geetha is expanding his innovation with the technical collaboration with Bosch and Intel. His sister Neethu is also an Electronics Engineer in Dubai.
