KOCHI:
A Pre-Budget panel discussion will be organized by the Centre for Budget Studies in Cusat at 2.30 pm on Monday, 22 nd January, 2018 at the Hall of Fame, School of Management Studies.
The panel discussion proposes to discuss the needs of the different sectors of Kerala Economy and the desired proposals that the budget may include, so that strong sectoral growth is possible. Cusat Vice Chancellor Dr. J. Letha will deliver the inaugural address and Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. P. G. Sankaran will preside. Dr. Nirmala Padmanabhan, Associate Professor, St. Teresa’s College, Ernakulam, Dr. K. S. Purushan, Retd., Professor, Agriculture University, Thrissur, Dr. P. M. Mathew, Director, Institute of Small Industries and Development, Kochi and Kiran Kumar, Industrialist, Palakkad will speak on different sectoral needs of the economy and will provide necessary suggestions that the forthcoming budget could consider while making the budget. Dr. M. K. Sukumaran Nair, Director CBS, Dr. S. Harikumar, Head Department of Applied Economics and Dr. Alwyn Prakash, will speak.
