Crowne Plaza Kochi Hosts Grand Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

The grand Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony at Crowne Plaza Kochi lit up more than just the tree, it illuminated the hearts of everyone present. The evening became a symbol of joy and giving as children from Ashwasa Bhavan Orphanage in Mattancherry were at the center of the celebrations. Keeping a promise made during the earlier cake-mixing ceremony, Crowne Plaza Kochi handed over the first batch of freshly baked plum cakes and surprise toys to the children during the tree lighting event. Sherly Rejimon, CEO, Milan Designs was the chief guest of the event. Director KGA Group of companies Mr.Benson Abraham was also part of the event.

“The annual Tree Lighting Ceremony is just the beginning of what promises to be a season filled with joy, warmth, and celebration. We have Christmas and New yaer festivities lining up with curated menu and rich plum cakes,” said Mr. Dinesh Rai, General Manager of Crowne Plaza Kochi.

The ceremony unfolded in a beautifully decorated lobby where golden hues, twinkling lights, and vibrant ornaments set the tone for the evening and these décor pieces were made by Raksha Society for the Care of Children with Special Needs. The celebrations began with a soulful choir performance by children from The Choice School, creating a magical atmosphere. This was followed by a series of delightful activities, including a gingerbread house, dazzling wreaths, and a variety of Christmas-themed decorations.

Distinguished guests, including celebrities, influencers, and corporate leaders, graced the ceremony, adding to the elegance and significance of the celebration.
